

The imagined idea behind the restaurant design is that we bought a small beachside cottage built in the 30′s or 40′s. We had a little money left over and so we put in a killer stainless kitchen and filled the rest of it with comfy though modern furnishings and accents.

Sustainable Life Project offers a 12-week curriculum consisting of culinary arts classes conducted at Inner-City Arts, weekly farm tours around L.A. County and culinary internships at Tender Greens for real-life exposure to the restaurant business. Upon graduation students are eligible for employment with Tender Greens to continue their journey.
